Meet the Solicitors

Margaret co-founded the firm in 1987 and has specialised in wills, trusts and probate ever since. She is known locally for her patience and plain English approach, and clients often say she is the first person to make estate planning feel manageable rather than daunting. Margaret sits on the committee of a local hospice charity and is a Full Member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners).

Jonathan co-founded the firm alongside Margaret in 1987, building the commercial practice from a handful of local traders into the firm's largest department. He advises owner-managed businesses across Hampshire on everything from company formation to complex commercial disputes, and is a former President of the Winchester Chamber of Commerce.

Naomi joined the firm in 2015 and became a partner in 2021, leading the family law team. She is a Resolution-accredited specialist, trained in the organisation's constructive, non-confrontational approach to separation and divorce, and has particular expertise in complex financial settlements and child arrangements.

David qualified in 2016 and has handled residential property transactions across Winchester and the surrounding Hampshire villages ever since, from first-time buyers to complex chain sales. He is known for keeping clients properly informed at every stage, with no unexplained jargon and no unreturned calls.

Sarah advises both employers and employees on the full range of workplace matters, covering contracts, disciplinary processes, redundancy and Employment Tribunal claims. Before joining private practice she spent two years as in-house counsel for a Hampshire manufacturing business, which gives her a practical, commercially-minded perspective.

Thomas supports the conveyancing team on residential sales, purchases and remortgages, with a particular focus on new-build transactions and leasehold properties. He qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2020 after five years working his way up through the firm.
